Only One iPhone Per Person -- Sort of...

iphonePOV has just received word from an anonymous tipster who claimed that official Apple Store policy will be one iPhone, per customer, per transaction. Presumably, this means that customers will be able to buy more than one iPhone, but they will have to wait in line AGAIN if they want to buy a second iPhone--thereby fulfilling the requirement of one phone per transaction. If you have your heart set on more than one iPhone, keep this in mind when planning on what time to get in line on the 29th.
***Because this rumor was received anonymously, its validity is unknown.

This is bullshit! I want to get one for myself and one for my wife, if they make me go to the end of the line again, I'm going to be pissed!

At exactly what time can I purchase two at an Apple store? Two? Two per day? Two per visit? Two per credit card?

I think it would probably be a kinda two per visit thing... and I think this only applies to the first couple of days. After that, I'm sure Apple will be happy to sell you hundreds.
